About This Trip
The afternoon is the quietest time on the Red Sea. The day boats have gone home, the water turns glassy and the light gets soft. This trip is built around exactly that window: a short snorkel stop while the sun is still high, then time on a sandbank, then the sunset from the water.
Your captain takes you to a sheltered reef for about 45 minutes of snorkeling, then on to the Abu Minqar sandbank, where you can stand in ankle-deep turquoise water far from any beach crowd. As the sun drops, the boat moves to open water and stops engines — the Eastern Desert mountains turn orange, then purple.
The boat is yours alone: no other passengers, your music, your pace. Soft drinks and water are on board. The base price covers a group of up to 4; the boat takes up to 8. A good choice for couples, families with older kids and anyone who wants one calm evening between busier days.
