About This Trip

A dune buggy is the friendliest way to drive the desert yourself: two seats side by side, a roll cage, and enough power for the long sandy tracks without the balance of a quad. On this trip only your group rides — no convoy of strangers, no waiting at every stop.

Your guide leads you out of the resort zone into the Eastern Desert in the late afternoon, when the heat drops and the sand turns gold. Halfway there is a stop for sweet Bedouin tea, then the final stretch up to a ridge where you watch the sun go down behind the mountains.

Drivers must be 16 or older; children from 6 ride as passengers. Helmets, scarves and goggles are provided. Priced per person, minimum 2 guests (one buggy). Children 6–11 ride as passengers at half price; buggies aren't suitable for children under 6.
