About This Trip
Two small islands close to Hurghada, perfect for a relaxed half-day without long boat rides. Abu Minqar has one of the prettiest sandbanks in the area — at the right tide you walk on white sand surrounded by shallow, glassy water — plus a small patch of mangroves, rare on this coast.
From there the boat crosses to Magawish for a snorkel stop over coral gardens with plenty of reef fish. Short distances mean more time in the water and on the sand, which makes this trip a favourite for families with younger children.
Your captain plans the order around the tide so the sandbank is at its best when you arrive. Entry fees for both stops are included. The base price covers up to 4 guests; the boat takes up to 8.
