Programme
Hotel pickup
Your driver collects you from your hotel lobby. The drive to the desert departure point takes approximately 30 minutes; cold water is provided for the ride.
Safety briefing & gear up
A certified guide walks you through quad controls, riding posture, and desert safety rules. Helmets, goggles, and gloves are fitted before you mount.
Desert quad ride
A 90-minute guided ride through open sand dunes, dry riverbeds, and remote desert tracks. The guide leads at a pace suited to your group — beginners welcome, experienced riders can request a faster pace on open sections.
Bedouin tea stop
The group pauses at a local Bedouin shelter for traditional mint tea, a brief rest, and a chance to photograph the desert landscape as the temperature begins to drop.
Return to base
A final stretch back across the dunes to the starting point, just as the evening cools.
Hotel drop-off
Your driver returns you to your hotel. Total journey including transfers: approximately 4 hours.
About This Trip
Trade the hotel lounger for a VIP quad and tear into the Eastern Desert on a route we run exclusively for our guests. Brand-new ATVs, complete safety gear, and a small-group setup mean more open desert and less waiting around — the way a real safari should feel.
Your guide leads you through rolling dunes, dried wadis, and panoramic ridges where the Red Sea suddenly appears below. Halfway through, the route swings down to a quiet stretch of coast where you ride firm sand right next to the water — a section most operators skip entirely.
Pause at a working Bedouin settlement for hot herbal tea brewed over an open fire, a short camel ride along the dunes, and a real conversation with the family that lives there. No staged costumes, no rushed tourist treadmill — just the version of desert hospitality our team grew up with.
